Grown, graded and certified.
Cut
The only factor that is entirely a human decision, and the one that decides how a stone behaves in light. We specify Excellent, and reject stones that grade well on paper but sit dull in a setting.
Colour
F–G as the house minimum, and D–E on pieces where the stone sits alone against skin. Warmer grades are used deliberately in yellow gold, never to save cost.
Clarity
VS or better, judged by eye at wearing distance before it is judged under a loupe.
Carat
Chosen last. Proportion decides the size of a stone at Córvel.
Why lab-grown
A lab-grown diamond is a diamond: the same crystal, the same hardness, the same optical behaviour, distinguishable only by specialist equipment reading its growth pattern.
When stones can be grown to specification, a design no longer waits for the market. That is the freedom this house was built to use.
Certification
Every centre stone is independently certified. Certificates travel with the piece and are held against your account.
